We stopped in at Whit N Whimsy in Maleny QLD for coffee and scones, and it’s clear why they’re sitting on a wall of five-star reviews. The moment we walked in, the warm and friendly service set the tone, and the café was filled with the mouth-watering smell of fresh cakes still baking. The decor is wonderfully quirky, full of personality and charm, and it gives the place a really cosy, memorable atmosphere. The scones were light, fluffy, and obviously made in-house, just like the rest of their food. Everything tasted super fresh. The standout for us was the coffee: creamy, smooth, and the perfect strength. Whit N Whimsy is a genuine hidden gem. Strongly recommend staying here if ever in Maleny.

Amazing place that you’ld never know existed but when you go you’ll never go anywhere else Undoubtedly the best coffee not only in town but in the whole sunny coast and that’s coming from an ex Victorian coffee snob! Amazing vibes at the place and with the staff, whom are so real and authentic Enjoy

Their food is amazing and I can attest that the owners make everything from scratch (I’ve seen them in action). I’ve never had a bad coffee, or a bad meal. Definitely the best coffee in town, and their sweet treats are beautiful, different flavours and beautifully presented. Best matcha I’ve had in a very long time and their cold-pressed juices are full of goodness. It does have busy times, but service is always friendly- pretty place to sit if you have an hour to kill.
